EDIT: I added the second half of 2010, 2011 and 2012!
:) since the world is going to an end :P i wanted to see where i got so far. not too many works in 2012 since i used a lot of time working on an animation video.

comment back in 2010:

2005-2010 a long time. but i really got into painting 2006 and into drawing 2009 i guess. I had to split 2009 in halfs because you can't compare the beginning to the ending. its just like another me, who did those things :/. Its strange. I thought i wasn't good at the moment, but i never thought how bad i was back then... so. Lets all keep it up :). And let it flow.

i think it is interesting how you progressed to a very realistic style, then you go to more abstract... interesting, but i guess you do need to know the basics to make even abstract awesome

abstract for me is the same as simplyfied. i know that there are various forms of abstract art. this is what it means to me. so if i don'T know how to do it "complicated" and realistic. i can't know how to simplify it perfectly. :D... thank you for your insightfull comment! i havn't looked at that point yet!

after a now good friend told me about simple laws of colour i had a very strange moment. i suddenly knew what it meant when people say "art is hard work". before that moment i painted when i was in the mood to. after then i started studying. i made a cut between making art and sketching. i think there were many questions i had to ask myself after that point: do i paint what i want to paint or do i simply paint what i think i "can" paint? where are my weaknesses? and then i started to study from books, from other artworks i've found in the internet, in books, in museums (and yes i really did that :D). i know what art means to me (that's the most important part), and i know that i want to draw/paint what i want and definately not what i am limited to, therfor i work hard ...i draw everyday and i do it without pressure because i'm moved by my will to grow.
