I, myself am a pessimist .... for me ..everything starts as crap ..and it works its way to the top (the positive)...
Every time I get exited about something or have some expectations I end up with Murphy's law .. so, everyone is guilty in my book ..until proven innocent and there are no normal people..its an illusion of perspective...nobody is normal there are only gradations of variations..
i forgot the main part... there is no spoon... so everything is futile... everything will happen the way it needs to happen and there is nothing we can do to change it..or stop it... if we do, we will (as usual)regret the outcome..so its better to leave it alone.. time heals everything...and everyone..

so you're an optimist
there is no spoon...
so everything is futile...

I fall in between optimism and pessimism, this way I am never disappointed. All there is is what's around you at any time. *G*
This piece is exquisite. Every line and splatter screams with emotion. Brava!
